it's a big deal. good morning everyone. take a look at what we have now. we have a problem on southbound 101 at highway 92. this crash is weird because the four people who were involved ran away and they were caught in the nearby whole foods parking lot. one of them has reportedly some pretty significant injuries. but as i listen to the police interviewing these people it looks like they may have been driving a stolen car. surprise, surprise. southbound 101 at highway 92 this crash has a couple of lanes blocked at least. good area to stay away from. what i would do is i would use 280. it's early. the back up isn't that huge. if you want to drive through there expect delays. let's go out and take a look at westbound 92 heading out to the high-rise and over to 101. you can see traffic is moving well. you can also see that the sign is up warning of that accident. i just talked about. if you look at the far right hand side of your screen they have -- this is effecting traffic on 92 getting to 101. this morning if you're driving on 80 westbound that moves prett

system's being enhanced by that big old low up into oregon. and it just keeps ramping up the fog and low clouds. 52 to 57. 57 oakland also san jose. a lot of mid-50s here. redwood city, san francisco, livermore, concord, fairfield. cooler towards the north bay. santa rosa 50. napa 52. san rafael at 53. still component of a west or southwest wind or a delta breeze. and even west 22 stronger gusts at sfo. so i mean everything's there again to keep us below average on the temps. there are some areas of low clouds but i think it will burn off sooner today. however as long as this low sits there and then another one reinforcing it on the backside even though it's not as strong it keeps lower pressure on the west coast and high in the middle of the country it's hanging out towards tennessee, kentucky, missouri and not moving. so fog, sun, breezy, more sun today. may take a little while to get going but it will probably pop in sooner than we saw yesterday. cool to mild. temperatures some areas i mean 789 you're getting warm but for july that's cool.

just how you called it, bill, it just keeps heating up. >> now we're headed for a big warm up. we go outside and i'll show you what we have. we have some warm highs, warmer than yesterday by about five to 10, 15 degrees warmer in some places. here are the buoys offshore. this one up around point rays is blowing west-northwest gusting at 36. as we go into the next 24 to 36 hours we're going to start clocking out to the north like this. what will happen is that's the warm off direction. it's a northerly gradient that's very influential and warming up the bay area. especially as we head into saturday and sunday. the sun will be at the coast intermittently. as we head into saturday and sunday, the high pressure builds out of the southwest. comes up out of the valley. you know how hot that air can be. hottest day sunday, but saturday is going to be pretty darn warm and so is monday. the forecast then for 90. the high pressure of the story. my biggest concern with this. obviously fire danger but we've had rain. so it's not going to be as severe as it could be. i wouldn't be surprised
